AnglerEdge was created as a comprehensive resource for fishing enthusiasts of all levels who want to enhance their skills and make informed decisions about gear.
Growing up fishing the lakes and rivers of the Midwest, I developed a passion for angling at a young age, which has only grown over my 20+ years on the water. This extensive experience enables me to give you honest and reliable gear recommendations, as well as practical advice to improve your fishing game.
Beyond being an avid fisherman, I also have a deep appreciation for outdoor adventures and the camaraderie that comes with fishing. My background includes participating in local tournaments and spending countless hours perfecting techniques. I’m excited to share my knowledge, from selecting the right lures to mastering different fishing styles.

How We Review
When I review fishing gear, I always prioritize products I’ve personally tested. However, I never make a product number one just because I’ve used it myself. I consider input from my fellow anglers, industry experts, and reliable user reviews to ensure you get the most accurate and trustworthy recommendations. My aim is to help you choose the best gear for your needs, from rods and reels to tackle and accessories.
Our Team
Currently, the main contributors to AnglerEdge are me and Alex. Occasionally, my wife lends a hand with editing and fine-tuning articles. I personally oversee all content to maintain the quality and integrity you can trust. In the future, I hope to bring on additional experienced anglers to expand our coverage of fishing gear and techniques.
